CFA Society New York Book Club

The CFA Society New York Book Club® meets monthly to discuss the selected book.  No author is present and this is simply an opportunity to have a conversation around the material from the book.  Past members have enjoyed building their investment and market knowledge along with meeting other CFA Society NY members.

Program Overview

This book examines the proliferation and dispersion of robots in all aspects of work and life. The use of robots is moving beyond the factory floor and becoming more prevalent in services, health care, autos and home care. Increasingly able to perform duties oncereserved for skilled labor, robots are putting the jobs of low and high wage workers at risk. We look forward to seeing you at the July event to discuss this and other questions in more detail.

Inclement weather

CFANY reserves the right to cancel or reschedule all in-person events within 48 hours when inclement weather has been forecasted and travel is restricted by city officials.  The program may also be produced solely via livestream in such circumstances.  Please note the cancellation policy regarding refunds and substitutions.
